Upon completion of this course, the student will receive a diploma and be prepared to take the North Carolina State Board Exam for Instructors. Most of this course will involve student preparation and student teaching. The student should have a desire to teach others and be willing to advance his/her own education by keeping abreast of new methods and technologies in their field.

800 Hour Full-time program: 7 – 8 months at 24 hours per week

800 Hour Part–time program: 8 – 9 months at 22 hours per week

The objective of the Instructor program is to teach each aspiring Instructor trainee the necessary technical skills, which will enable him/her to pass the NC State Board of Examiners Test.
